It’s so easy. The more one allows oneself to learn, the easier further learning becomes. Dawkins is right about the scientific explanations being so much more “elegant” than anyone would suspect. And from my own personal experience, very religious people tend to wright off amazing stuff as mysterious, completely unaware that science has actually explained it.
We all know, deep down, that we are alone in this world. It’s just that some of us choose to go through life trying to believe, or pretending to believe in fairy tales because it allows us to escape having to acknowledge how little control we have over what happens to us. Its so transparent too. For crying out loud, most faiths revolve around constantly proving belief! From a psychological standpoint it’s very clear to see how much of a sham they all are. Everyone involved seems afraid of a God discovering that deep down they don’t completely believe in Him. What a laugh!
