The two have nothing in common, but I find it very disturbing that the Wikipedia entry for “sharecropping” is about a fifth the size of the entry for “Michael Vick“… I love my dogs and I think this bastard needs to fry for what he’s done; he needs to be thrown into a cage and poked with a stick until he gnashes his teeth. But this is a recent news event. Sharecropping has been an institution of covert slavery and oppression thats been used for centuries and is still used today in even sneakier ways. Just one of those random thoughts that I wanted to share.

Absolutely no mention of any of the Mad Max movies! Just a bunch of the same old establishment favorites. Oh yeah, where the hell is John Wayne’s “The Quiet Man”? Thats the best movie ever made! Also there isn’t anything on this list younger than 25 years. Look I know that just because it’s old doesn’t mean its bad, but just because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s still good either. Only dramas no comedies? What? A movie can only be good if its boring? Fuck this snob list.

This is a meticulous work of love, honoring what Hollywood would gladly forget. Dusty stills from obscure movies and rare photos of has-beens and never-wases. Definitely worth the culture shock. This is like a direct pipeline into the high-fidelity, lux-interior, ultra-smooth, realm of high camp. Enjoy!

Also, where else could you find
“pre-squishy” pictures of Adam West…?

I saw this “hipness” test on CheshireCatalyst‘s pages:

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here’s how it works:

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)

2. Put it on shuffle

3. Press play

4. For every section, type the song that’s playing..i.e opening credits

5. When you go to a new question, press the next button

6. DON’T LIE. 😀
