Apparently these found busts were freehanded with a sharpie marker in a few minutes. I’m not so sure about that, but regardless, they are fantastic works of art. Wish I could find some sweet busts like these.

This, my friends is the little ghost town of Bussana Vecchia. It was first abandoned in 1887 and remained as such until 1947 when small groups of squatters first started settling in the ruins. Despite numerous eviction attempts by the government, including the ordered demolition of stairways and roofs to make the buildings less habitable (!) there is still a small community of artists living there. There are other sites that show other pictures that really illustrate the size of this place. Its very amazing to me that authorities have actually been trying to get this place forgotten. Fucking authorities!

Snake-oil salesmen, like ol’ Doc Wilson here, have become a forgotten footnote in American history. These double-talking, fly by night faith healers and marketers of mysteries are only remembered in the occasional western movie and their particular brand of carnival barking has all but disappeared, being regulated to miracle knife and detergent peddlers at fleamarkets.
But Doctor Wilson here still has a traveling medicine show with full regalia and would be glad to come to your town to sell you something for that pesky neuroplexia thats been going around.
