Typical. Because of the drug’s low cost and it’s effectiveness the drug companies stand to loss allot of money over this, therefore there is now incentive to push it. These bastards don’t feel guilty about it either, because they’re “just doing whats best for their share-holders”. That is how every atrocity these fascist corporations commit against humanity is justified.
Lets all pretend to use our brains for a minute and extrapolate this data:
If the FDA won’t help promote a lifesaving treatment, their agenda must be to serve the drug companies. Little surprise that, being the FDA is headed by CEOs of drug companies (conflict of interest anyone?). And the drug companies don’t want to promote a cure because it would be bad for business (stay with me now). So the business they are in is sickness itself, because that is where the money is. There is more profit to be made by actually SPREADING disease and the only thing stopping them would be what? ETHICS? Ethics and profit don’t mix.
If there is a penny to be made at someone else’s expense, you better believe that eventually someone will grab that penny and screw someone over. If you find it hard to believe, then you are living a lie, and there is more than one kind of dogma that can ruin your mind. The point is these drug companies, like any other cororation, have people they PAY to come up new and more devious ways to grab up pennies, even if it means screwing their customers and employees. They are called efficiency experts.
You know that I never take any medicine for anything. I don’t visit a doctor unless I’ve broken something or I’m worried about a bad cut scarring without stitches. I suffer my little head ache once every couple of months, I suffer my little cold every year, and I tough it out. Guess what, I’m one of the healthiest people I know.
Headache medicine gives gives you recurring headaches. Acne medicine ruins your skin. Cold medicine stretches the effects out longer. Everything is designed to give you the short term relief but ultimately make your problem come back; And keep YOU coming back for more. Prescription medications are even worse.
