So what? Running zombies are scary. Too scary? Yes! They change the tactics of the usual survival horror but… Big deal! Pretty much every zombie movie out there is self contained (even Romero’s) running zombies HERE doesn’t threaten the integrity of creeping zombies THERE. Hey, Romero INVENTED the genre so I think if he says it’s OK, it’s OK. The only thing I don’t care for is that running zombies allow me absolutely no fantasy of surviving a zombie apocalypse.
