It isn’t the guns, the real problems are the intellectually degenerating school system, our disposable values, and our progressively fascist and psychologically invasive, commercialized culture. People are subconsciously “acting out” against the world. Technologically speaking we are light-years ahead of where we were only ten years ago. As a society, we haven’t been adapting to these changes at a comparable pace. The rate of change is exponentially increasing and it is suffocating us. We are running out of land. Most of our food was designed in a laboratory. There are video games, that for many people, have replaced about every stimulating activity that one can do. There are games designed around skateboarding, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, HIKING. Instead of making a sandwich the old fashioned way we are encouraged to buy ready made sandwiches from the freezer section. We don’t know how to do ANYTHING. Most people don’t even know how to change the oil in their own car. Our lives aren’t even difficult enough to take pride in our daily accomplishments. We are not stimulated physically, intellectually, or emotionally. We are becoming xenophobic, introverted, and increasingly afraid of the world outside our home. Every day more and more people are encouraged to take medication to make themselves cope with generalized feelings of ennui, angst and depression. This isn’t right, the protocols of our instinctual brains do not know how to cope with this “un-natural” setting we have built around ourselves. Thats why we are depressed and afraid. And that is why some of us occasionally crack up and kill a bunch of people.

I used to collect these when I was a kid. I was too young to know how cool they were and I think I only have a few left, but they’re all messed up anyway. I remember they came out either right before or right after a remake of the classic “Martians Attack!” series, which were done in the same style. I thought they were awesome, but as a kid, I had absolutely no control over being able to obtain a few packs. So my collection was pretty scant. I remember most of the cards here though, so these must have been the really common ones.
The artist for most of the set was a gentleman that went by the name XNO a great artist in the “Kustom Kulture” and “Low Brow” Art scenes.

Tragically, it’s very difficult to find a web gallery that features high resolution XNO paintings. They’re really fucked up and amazing (FUAA).
