A Shocking Idea: Nerves Might Run on Sound, Not Electricity

http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2007/06/nerve_communication

Hey! I know! How about if nerves were powered by fluctuations in the ionosphere caused by sunspots?… DUMB ASS! Heres the funny thing, if nerves don’t run on electricity, what is that faint electric signature that precedes the movement of any muscle? You know, the one that makes it possible for artificial limbs and hearts to operate? The fact is, we’ve known electricity is the motive force since the fucking 1790s thanks to Volta and Galvini.

Where did this guy get his “scientist lisence”? …Sears?

If this isn’t a complete hoax, this guy is going to end up dead. Car accident, self inflicted gunshot, maybe even a sudden case of… CANCER. Whatever it looks like, mark my words, it will have been murder. People who threaten the Zillion dollar oil cartel get murdered. If the corporate fascists don’t kill him, they’ll accuse him of soliciting sex from an underage boy or they’ll “discover’ a snuff library on his computer. These fuckers write most of our laws, our newspapers, and the scripts read by our favorite TV anchormen. Just remember the name “John Kanzius” and if you don’t hear anything about him in a few years, look him up on line. You’ll find a tiny little obituary.

UPDATE:
I’m thinking that the electronic array probably uses more juice than the flame can generate. But if he dies, this thing was so totally for reals.

Holy shit this is depressing. You know who I feel sorry for, that guy who married her knowing that she was going to die at any time. Thats devotion. Because who knows what state of mind that girl was in, what with the terminal illness and all the meds. But this guy just went along for it because he loved her. Wow!
I’m sorry to say that if I found myself in the same situation I really don’t know if my conduct would be so honorable. But then again look at her, Even with the elevens on her neck she was lovely. It’s such a pity.
